-T.G.I.F guys!
-Ray is leaving LA to go back to rainy old Oregon, which is kind of appropriate considering today is National Umbrella Day. A National Umbrella Day makes absolutely no sense in Los Angeles (it’s been in the mid-eighties all week), but everyone can make use of an umbrella in Portland.
-I’m just kidding about the T.G.I.F. thing. Who still says that? That is so in the past. I was just playin’ witchoo.
-The Winter Olympics start tonight. Well, the opening ceremonies are tonight. I hear that there are gonna be some rollerbladers, dressed in red and wearing flaming helmets in that ceremony. It’ll probably be the only part of the Olympics that I watch and I’m even doing that reluctantly. Sorry, I just can’t get excited for curling or ice skating or any of those other ice sports. It’s kind of like getting really excited to watch some random stranger’s little league game. The only people stoked on watching the Winter Olympics are the friends and family of the people participating.

-Russell’s pretty fascinated by these: http://www.neuticles.com/index1.html Look for an article on those curious little jelly beans in The Future in the near future.

-Wait, those aren't jellybeans!
-Russell’s also not into hearing about all of the delightful taco joints on our street. Which means I’ll probably be writing exlusively about tacos in the next couple of weeks. Tacos, tacos, tacos…. mmmmm.

-You don’t know funny.
